At The K-9 Dream Dog Training, all our training sessions are conducted in person with you and your family alongside your pet. Our goal is to help you build the best relationship with your furry friend. Each session is $100 per hour, and we're also available for phone consultations at $1 per minute to address any questions you may have about your pet's behavior.
If your pet is jumping on guests, it might be due to encouraging excitement when people arrive. Chewing things around the house? Check out our "bored dog" toy section or consult us if it's more likely separation anxiety. Unsure if it's anxiety or boredom? Give us a call, and we'll help you determine the best course of action!
Looking for a service dog or need your pup task-trained? Talk to us today! We begin with a service dog evaluation to ensure a good fit between the pet and handler, tailored to the specific type of service dog training you need. We offer training for guide dogs, diabetic alert dogs, celiac alert dogs, and PTSD service dogs.
Our comprehensive board-and-train program includes task training such as grabbing medications, assisting during seizures or panic attacks, interrupting impulsive behaviors, providing deep pressure therapy, and turning lights on and off. Once the training is complete, we provide three follow-up classes to teach you how to work with your service dog both in public and at home, ensuring a seamless transition and effective teamwork.
In our basic obedience classes, dogs will learn essential skills that form the foundation for good behavior and a harmonious relationship with their owners. These skills include sit, stay, come, and heel, which are crucial for safety and control. Dogs will also learn to walk politely on a leash, reducing pulling and making walks more enjoyable. We focus on teaching dogs to greet people and other animals calmly, minimizing jumping and over-excitement. Additionally, we work on impulse control exercises, such as waiting at doors and not bolting, and responding to commands even in distracting environments. Our positive reinforcement techniques ensure that learning is enjoyable and effective, setting the stage for more advanced training in the future.
At The K-9 Dream, we specialize in helping your dog become better on a leash through positive reinforcement and consistent training. Our trainers will teach your dog to walk calmly by your side, reducing pulling and lunging. We use reward-based techniques to encourage loose-leash walking, ensuring that your dog learns to focus on you rather than distractions around them. We’ll also address common leash issues, such as excitement when approaching other dogs or people, by teaching impulse control and proper behavior. With patience and practice, your dog will become more comfortable and confident on the leash, making walks enjoyable for both of you!

We specialize in helping reactive, aggressive, barking, and scared dogs through gentle, positive reinforcement techniques. Our experienced trainers assess each dog's specific triggers and work on desensitizing them to those situations, gradually reducing fear and anxiety. For dogs that display aggression or excessive barking, we focus on teaching calm behavior and impulse control, helping them respond to triggers with better composure. We also provide confidence-building exercises to help fearful dogs feel more secure in different environments. Whether it's addressing leash reactivity or helping your dog feel more at ease around people and other dogs, we work with patience and consistency to transform challenging behaviors into positive outcomes.
